Body ReHabitation & Integration
What some have said…
“Because of my problems with chronic pain in my neck, back and arms I have tried Tai Chi, Chi Gung, Feldenkrais (4 different instructors), Yoga, and a host of other movement techniques.
I have discovered it is not so simple to even describe to people what kind of movements they will be doing. Nicole’s class is my first experience where I didn’t keep wondering what I was supposed to be doing.
Beyond that no matter how tired, stiff and grumpy I was at the beginning of class I always felt joyful about moving and being in my body by the end.
I find the techniques and experiences in class extend beyond class time.
I find my body changing. I find myself noticing right away when I am uncomfortable and moving to do something about it. I fidget more, stretch more and take better heed of my body’s limits.
The visualization techniques have also helped me ground myself when I am stressed, or relax when I am tense. I have learned them well enough to do them with others.
Nicole is a uniquely gifted, gentle, exciting teacher. She invited us into imaginative play and movement in a way that completely removed pressure and performance anxiety.
She has done more to help me heal the relationship with my body than any other person or experience.” ~ Kirsten
“My body came alive in a whole new way…
I have come to love and appreciate the wonderfulness of my body and what I am capable of as we do these movements together. Visualization and imagination is a wonderful channel for health and self-esteem.” ~ Jean
I am very grateful to have been able to attend Nicole’s movement class. Her work is inspiring and powerful and her knowledge and wisdom of the body helped me to integrate…
Her exercises always relaxed me and energized me at the same time. Her soothing and gentle voice feels like divine nectar entering my body and loosening up any tightness I might have felt.
Her open encouragement helped me to move my body in ways I never experienced before. She truly is an incredible teacher, ritual creator, dancer, friend, and woman.
I have utter respect for Nicole, for her cosmic courage, her wonderful sense of freedom and her outstanding generosity.
I give thanks to her parents, who allowed her to come to this plane. May peace and good health be with them all forever. ” ~ Sonja
